WEIGHT LOSS COMPETITION

2007 PROGRAM DATES:
Thursday, February 1st through Thursday, March 29th

Each year the ITCA hosts this special program in conjunction with the Hackettstown Regional Medical Center. The competition is always fun! Teams are challenged to lose a determined amount of weight with the supervision of Nurse Mary from HRMC. There are tons of prize giveaways including treadmills, cookbooks, gym memberships and more. This is a great way to get healthy, build a support group and have a great time.

A hearty CONGRATULATIONS to this year’s winning team, Waist Recovery from L3 Communications! The winning team consisted of Pat Scheplein, Miro Kubinec, Ralph Meyer, Scott Burchell and Fred Patierno. Their goal for the competition was to lose 76 pounds and they succeeded in losing a collective 85 pounds! These grand prize winners received $500!

There was a tie for Best Attendance between Givaduan’s Portley Crew and Seiko’s Don’t Weight For Us – Those teams get to split the $200 Best Attendance prize.

A HUGE Thank you to Mary Stein from the Hackettstown Regional Medical Center for helping to organize this program annually! And Thank you to Sportcraft Ltd, Krups-Rowenta, The American Heart Association and Hackettstown Regional Medical Center for their generous prize donations.
